Life has been a challenging, Olympic Dee-cathalon style, streetfight event over the past fourteen months. Still, I’m grateful to pause, sit with these words, and offer encouragement to anyone who takes a moment to read them.
The future is uncertain. Because of that, we must be certain—steadfast, funky fresh, hip, and present. Transparent about matters of the heart, health, life, and business. Growth requires honesty. Progress requires rest. Accept the mistakes, remove the obstacles you can, eat well, breathe deeply, and then get back to the work of living.
We can’t wait for the perfect mix engineer, the optimal mastering chain, or the mythical, super-fresh 360 deal with built-in equity. Life and art don’t move on ideal timelines. They move when we do. Creation is not permission-based, and meaning does not wait for polish.
I arrive humbly, offering encouragement shaped by recent experiences in audio, creativity, and life. Love yourself the way you wish the world would love you. Care for your craft, your community, and your environment with intention and respect.

It has been more than a hot and spicy few months since our last Skip Free Music update. Much has happened. I will get you caught up over the next few weeks. Right now, let’s talk about surviving.
